Yet reaching and maintaining authenticity may not be easy or straightforward. A life fulfilled and purposeful is not without pain and may even require consideration of existence’s finitude (Joseph, 2019).
Rather than waiting for an encounter with our own or someone else’s mortality to inspire us to live with increased awareness and more authenticity, a purposeful life journey can be created.
